Taj Mahal – Sikandra: After lunch visit the Taj Mahal. After visiting Agra Taj Mahal, proceed to visit Sikandra, Akbar tomb, from road only.
Taj Mahal: The Taj Mahal is made with totally white marble located on the bank of Yamuna River in the Indian city of Agra. The Taj Mahal was built by the Emperor Shah Jahan for his favorite Queen, Mumtaz.
Finished in by Marvel, it is perhaps India most mesmerizing and attractive monument. This perfectly symmetrical monument took 22 years (1630-1652) of 20,000 hard workers; Masons and Jewelers too built and are set amidst landscaped gardens.
Agra Fort: This fort is a UNESCO World Heritage site located in Agra city, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is about 2.5 km northwest of its more well-known sister monument, the Taj Mahal. It is also known as Lal Qila, and Agra Fort.
Emperor Shah Jahan, had built the Taj Mahal, was put away by his son Aurangzeb in the Agra Fort where he had a view of the building erected for his deceased wife.
Sikandra Tomb (Tomb of Akbar the Great): Sikandra fort is located about a distance of 10 km from city towards west on the road between Mathura and Pandit Radharaman Satyavichitra Road of Agra.
The tomb is built with red sandstone, which is beautifully crafted in such a way that it reflects the persona of the great emperor. It was built by Akbar and the development is continued by Akbar’s son Jahangir. The architecture has massive piers and arches, and inlay by marble work.
